I took my first trip to Seattle! I loved how late the sunset is during the summer. It was light out until almost 10 o'clock! Just a little bit of rain, a lot of light, and a ton of coffee sums it up.
I then took the train down to Portland to visit my old shooting partner. I visited new friends and old! This trip was filled with impromptu photoshoots, really good food, and deep fried Oreos!
This fall, I took my first trip to London! I really got immersed into the culture and stayed with a couple different locals. Exploring the Southbank of the River Thames was the most interesting to shoot. Everything seemed so antique; with a history and a backstory. I loved to people watch along the river. I only brought my old film camera with me on this trip, and I'm so glad that I did. It gave a lovely quality and color to the images.
My photography partner and good friend, Betz, and I went on a road trip up the coast of Oregon. We saw such beautiful and breathtaking scenery! It was my first time experiencing the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and even though it was a long drive, I'm so glad we got to explore it. These are a few of my favorite shots. I used my digital SLR for this trip; a Nikon D810 with a Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 lens.
